A group of writers and poets participated in the revival of the Palestinian Poetry Day at the Arab Cultural Center in the field, presenting readings by major poets of the occupied land.

The novelist, Dr. Hassan Hamid, explained in his intervention that the readings are Palestinian poets born in the occupied land and in the countries of the Diaspora and show the magic, beauty and pain of the poets of the poem of the sons of this land, then he read poems by the poets Mahmoud Ali Al-Saeed, Salah Abu Lawi, Rashid Issa, Abdullah Issa and Faten Masarwa And Murad Al-Sudani and Moein Bseiso.

The poet Ahmed Dakhil recited poems by late poets from a poem and we are the end of the guillotine by Khalil al-Damouni, a woman by Youssef Hattini, and what came about the literature of the dynasty by the poet Abdullah Issa

While the literary critic Omar Jumaa shared readings from the poems of the Palestinian poet and martyr Abdul Rahim Mahmoud, while the storyteller Hassan Ali presented poems by the poet Abdul Rahman Ghoneim.

The storyteller, Abd al-Fattah Idris, chose to read a poem by the poet Salma al-Khadra al-Juyushi, while the poet Zakaria al-Sayyid Ahmad provided readings from the poems of the late poets Muhammad Khair, the concubine, Ziad Abu Khawla and Bashar Ibrahim.

The occasion was an opportunity to introduce the productions of poets who made an imprint in the world of the poem, but their poems remained confined to an elite audience, such as the poet Izz al-Din al-Manasrah, to whom the poet Nadia Ibrahim read a text from his collection of Canaanite parables.

Poet Walid Abdel Rahim read to poets Jabra Ibrahim Jabra and Fawaz Eid, while poet and storyteller Fatima Hussein read a poem by Mahmoud Darwish.

As for the poet Mahmoud Hamed, he recited poems from his poetry that carried the concerns of resistance and adherence to the land.

The researcher Bakour Arroub read a poem by the Palestinian poet who lived in Aleppo, Issam Tarashani, and Sarah Tlemcani and Sawsan Radwan also shared two poems by the poet Khaled Abu Khaled.

The festival was interspersed with musical performances and an oud played by the composer and player Yusef Al-Asi and concluded with a lyrical compass by the artists Yahya Uqla, Hassan Aqla and Nassim Issa during which they performed songs ... Palestine Oh Our Mother, in addition to mawwil and admonitions that sang the land, an introduction to a song on the road to Jerusalem and O Tayer Al-Tayer, Wadi Salami, and carry your weapon in addition to a song. By the poet Ahmed Al-Khatib and composed by Youssef Asi under the title Why are you crying, my mother.

The festival was moderated by Laila Saab, head of the Cultural Center, who explained that Palestine was not only present in the poems of its children, but rather it remained a bleeding wound in the heart of our poets, recalling the Damascene poet Nizar Qabbani, who worked with Palestine and whose letters monitored every negligent in its cause.
