The huge protest last night in Jerusalem rekindled the feelings felt by the protesters at its peak last year.

After quiet, though steady, months of limited protests in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Balfour and his home in Caesarea alongside various bridges and intersections, it is estimated that about 20,000 people have returned to the main focus ahead of the election, and protesters insist on much larger numbers.

"It could have been the biggest demonstration. We distributed 55,000 stickers," Adv. Gonen Ben Yitzhak of the Crimea Minister movement, who was a member of the TLM list before retiring from the Knesset, told 103FM in an interview this morning (Sunday).

"Even if it turns out that Netanyahu is not succeeding or that he has any discrimination at all, that does not mean that we are storing the signs. There are many things to fix."

According to Ben-Yitzhak, "We played a key role in the fact that the Netanyahu-Gantz government did not survive, even in the work we did behind the scenes with some of the blue-and-white MKs and the pressure we exerted, and the very fact that we hid these things. "This was a decisive factor in the matter of going to the polls."

He promised that the protest would not subside any time soon.

“There was a very impressive event of awakening,” he said.

"We are preparing for the fact that we will have to continue to demonstrate. We are working to make society better, and that will happen even if Netanyahu is not the prime minister."

"We handed out 55,000 stickers."

Thousands of protesters in Jerusalem marched from the Knesset square to Paris Square, near the prime minister's residence, for the 39th week in a row in protest.

Inscriptions appeared on their signs with the approaching Election Day sign, including "23.3 We are all at the polls", "It's in our hands", "And you chose", "Our power in our unity" and "Imagine".

Police blocked streets in the Knesset area and in the main hotspots, but no unusual incidents were recorded.

Protest movements also celebrated the achievement.

"We are still digesting this crazy evening that was here. Thank you to all the tens of thousands who came and gave us hope. The camp of change is stronger than ever," wrote Komi Israel.

"It's just in our hands. On March 23rd we put an end to the madness."

In the No Mode movement, join: ": Much more than 20,000. Inhale."
