The warning is signed Renaud Muselier while the president of the Sud-Paca region signs a platform in
the Figaro
today, with nine other presidents to demand the maintenance of the territorial elections scheduled for June 13 and 20, while some fear a new postponement.
"We cannot suspend democracy on a return to normal even when everyone agrees that it will take some getting used to living in a new health context for a long time,"
write the elected officials.
In addition to the democratic stake of the polls, Muselier also points out that of a youth heavily penalized by the health crisis to which
"no one speaks".
The Republicans had been forced to admit, the day after the presidential election, that young people no longer recognized themselves in the ideas of the right.
