The International Loyalty Horse Jumping Tournament, in its twenty-fifth edition, concluded its competitions today at the Al-Aghar Gymnasium at Martyr Basil Al-Assad Equestrian Club in Dimas, with the participation of knights from Jordan, Russia and Iran, in addition to Syria.
The knight Sham Al-Assad won the Grand Prix title after winning the first place for the upper category A for a height of 145 cm, whose competitions took place in two asymmetric circuits recorded at a time of 53.66 seconds and without errors leaving the prescription for the knight Qutayba al-Daghli, followed by the knight Amr Hamsho, then the knight Muhammad Jubrani, and the knight Hammam Shihab came fifth.
The knight Muhammad Jubrani won the title of the middle class championship for a height of 135 cm, whose competitions were held in two rounds, “the first is original and the second is a round for differentiation” after he finished the match course in this category at a time of 40.58 seconds, and the knight Sham al-Assad came in second place, then the knight Rami Shaheen third, so the knight Hammam al-Khuli fourth and the knight Ahmed Fifthly, Hamsho.
The knight Jawad Nizam won the title of the junior class championship with a height of 125 cm, which was held on an original run and a weighted race after scoring a time of 11.31 seconds, followed by the knight Laith al-Ali, then the knight Aya Hamsho third, the knight Sham al-Assad fourth and the Jordanian knight Muhammad al-Moameni fifth.
The Russian knight Daria Samokhina won the best foreign knight award, while the Iranian knight Soroush Garvey won the fair play award, and the honorary president of the Equestrian Federation, Manal Al-Assad, honored the traveler and writer Adnan Azzam in recognition of what he had done during his long career as he chose the Arabian horse to be the best ambassador in the world’s Syria journey. He carried out it from Damascus to Moscow, as well as honoring the knights Ahmad Hamsho and Amr Hamsho for their outstanding results in the show jumping tournaments.
