Crash in Mea Shearim: A 17-year-old man who attacked the shuttle driver is charged with causing death by negligence
The boy is accused of attacking Ibrahim Hamed, who ran over Itamar Ben Abu in Jerusalem while trying to escape during riots in the city.
The young man is also charged with participating in a riot, throwing a stone or object at a vehicle and other offenses.

The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office today (Sunday) filed an indictment against a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of causing death by negligence, after attacking the shuttle driver Ibrahim Hamed, who ran over Itamar Ben Abu to death in Jerusalem while trying to escape during riots in the city.
The young man is also charged with participating in a riot, throwing a stone or object at a vehicle and other offenses.
The prosecution asked the court to order the arrest of the defendant until the end of the proceedings.
According to the indictment, on the evening of February 28, many dozens of rioters gathered in the Mea Shearim neighborhood and violated public order.
Defendant crowded along with others on the road at the scene and prevented free movement of vehicles.
Later, the crowd threw stones, bottles and various objects at vehicles of drivers of Arab descent and hit police vehicles.
