The list of shops authorized to remain open within the framework of confinement is looked
at
"
on a case-by-case basis
" and may change when there is an "
aberration
", said the Minister for SMEs, Alain Griset, on Sunday.
“
We will avoid changing the rules every day
,” he declared on the occasion of the “
Grand Jury
” RTL-LCI-Le Figaro.
"
But if there is ever really an aberration, it is possible, you never know, we will look positively
".
“
We look at it on a case-by-case basis,
” he said.

Twenty-one million inhabitants, including 12 million in the Paris region, are subject for at least four weeks to new confinement, admittedly lighter than during the two episodes of 2020. The most visible change concerns the closure since Saturday 90,000 businesses deemed non-essential.
Among those that can remain open, however, are florists and plant shops, chocolate makers, music stores and hair salons.
Clothing stores, for example, had to close, except for “
click & collect
”, where customers can order online and collect their purchase on site.
"Bureaucratic madness"
The president of Medef had ruled on Saturday that the closing criteria betrayed a "
bureaucratic madness
".
"
At Bercy we are on pragmatism, on listening, consultation, so if we see that such or such measure can be improved, we will pass it on to the Prime Minister,
" replied Alain Griset.
He also confirmed that measures would be announced soon to help businesses with large stocks that could not be sold, such as clothing or shoe stores.
“
This week, the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire asked me to review the various representatives and we will announce a specific measure for stocks,
” added Alain Griset.
"
We will try to find a suitable solution for everyone,
" he said.
