The Ministry of Health's outline for quick inspections in places where entry is only allowed according to the rules of the green label came into effect today (Sunday), but the owners of restaurants, banquet halls and culture did not purchase the kits at all.

The seven companies approved by the Ministry of Health reported not selling kits, although there has been great interest in recent weeks.

Companies argue that the reason for the gap is the high price of estimates.

According to the outline, the business owner is required to purchase the kit for testing, assign an employee to evaluate it and send him for brief training on operating the kit - all at his own expense.

The Ministry of Health allowed business owners to choose whether to charge an additional fee to consumers or to finance the 15 dollars (about 50 shekels) that each test costs themselves.

In practice, however, they have only one option, because they can not afford to raise prices when customers have only just begun to return.

Another problem is that only 5% of entrants are allowed to enter on the basis of speed checks.

This is a small percentage of the number of entrants, and for closed attractions intended for children, such as cinemas - the layout is not relevant at all.

The rapid test, which returns within 30-15 minutes, can also be performed by an employee on behalf of an authorized supplier, and the company will be responsible for reporting the results to the Ministry of Health.

Anyone who is positive in the quick check will have to leave the place immediately and return to his home for isolation.

He will also be required to perform a PCR test as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours, in order to verify the result.

If it is found negative in this test, it is exempt from further isolation.

If it is found to be positive, it is further charged with isolation under current regulations.

A negative answer in the quick check is only valid for the purpose of entering the same place, and its results will not be allowed for the purpose of entering other places or events.

The Ministry of Health has approved seven kits from seven different companies for use in tests: NowCheck by Gamidor Diagnostics, Standard Q by Medical Rhenium, Panbio by Geffen Medical, Soifa by Rimipharm Medical Products, Veritor by BD Israel, Salicov by Slignostics and Certest of the company Ternostica.

Evaluation by Slignostics Tarnostica is still in the production process and therefore the product is not sold, even though it has already been approved by the Ministry of Health.

Do not rush to purchase.

Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash said today that he hopes the rapid tests will be integrated soon, and that they can help open up the economy safely.

"We consider them of great importance, especially in the context of children," Ash said, noting that the tests "will not be suitable for all events because it is an expensive technology."

The Corona commissioner added that he hopes the prices of the tests will drop later.

"We will look together with the Ministries of Finance and Economy and see if there is a need to intervene in this market, whether subsidy or other ways," he said.

"There are no businesses that could have contracted with the fast companies, because the three companies that applied will get the permit to operate only tomorrow."

Said he hopes the rapid testing prices will drop later.

In Sofia Israel, the largest rapid testing company in the country, Walla!

Because in recent weeks hundreds of business owners have been interested in kits.

"Most business owners are unable to fund tests themselves or roll over the cost to the consumer. Even if companies lower the test price to the floor, as the health ministry hopes, there are still operating costs, protective equipment, minimum wage for the sampling team and a need to report to the health ministry."

"This is why we have proposed to the Ministry of Health a subsidized outline through public speed testing complexes," we noted.

"Every public complex will serve many businesses at the same time. We have worked with a similar protocol at hundreds of test sites in the country and also in the green islands in Eilat and the Dead Sea and we know that it works great in New York State."

"Until youth can be vaccinated and self-coronary tests are approved in Israel for use at home, it is proper and healthier and correct that the outline be subsidized publicly," they stated in Sofia.

"We intend to submit to the Ministry of Health for approval a simple and inexpensive kit developed by the American company Quiddle, which includes a delicate nose pen that allows children to sample themselves alone or with the help of parents and get an immediate result, similar to a quick home throat surface, and leave the house with a negative result. In the pharma chains or will be distributed in the educational institutions, and with their help it will be possible to perform self-sampling at home without the cost of the device or the professional staff member. The Ministry of Health stated that "a number of companies for sampling and speed tests have recently started registering with the Ministry of Health, so the list on the site is expected to be updated. The Ministry of Health does not monitor the process of purchasing assessments. That is, for the private market. "
