Sana'a - Sana

The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation condemned the Saudi aggression’s targeting of the facilities of the Yemeni International Food Industries Company at Salif Port in Hodeidah governorate today, stressing that it represents a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement in the governorate.

In a statement today, according to what was reported by Al Masirah Net, the Foundation called on the international community to urgently intervene and exert pressure on the countries of the coalition of aggression to neutralize the service sectors and the private sector, launch oil derivatives tankers and allow them to enter Hodeidah port without any restrictions or conditions, to avoid a humanitarian tragedy in Yemen, bearing the countries of aggression and the United Nations in full. Responsibility for the consequences of the bombing of vital and service facilities and the continued detention of oil derivative ships for nearly a year.

The Foundation renewed its warning of the disastrous results as a result of the systematic escalation of the forces of aggression and targeting national capital and companies that contribute to securing the minimum food and medicinal needs of the Yemeni people.

The Yemeni parties had reached during their talks in Sweden on the thirteenth of December 2018, a ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah governorate and understandings regarding the city of Taiz, but the forces of Saudi aggression and its mercenaries continue to violate this agreement.
