This young mother was deceived by phone by a crook in the fake repurchase of credits. They are hundreds like her, victims of these special

Angelique is outraged.

This 29-year-old mother was fooled two years ago in her house in the Eure by a fake Parisian broker specializing in credit redemption scams.

“It was angst for several months.

I made myself sick of it.

And even now, I say to myself:

but what could I have been turkey to be so naive

, underlines this employee of the large distribution on parental leave.

But these crooks are very convincing and today I wish my testimony could serve as a warning to other people.

"

Angélique's misadventure begins in 2018 when she borrows 22,000 euros from the credit company Domofinance, which works with the company that sold her and installed a heat pump.

A year later, in August 2019, a broker named Eric Watrin gave him a phone call.

The crook assures him that he works for the company Sogenef and offers to buy back his loan and assures him that he can grant him an advantageous rate of 1.5%.

The negotiation lasts several days.

“The bogus broker was very clever.

He told us lots of lies ”

The impostor calls several times to convince the young woman “At first I didn't want to.

Then I spoke with my husband and we decided to accept.

The bogus broker was very clever.

He told us lots of lies.

He said it would reduce the cost and we believed in it, says Angélique.

He even sent me supporting documents by email.

"

The sourfin does not need any document to achieve its ends.

“He already had everything, he knew the amount of my husband's salary.

He had our address, our EDF bill.

He assures us that he will take care of everything.

He opened a new loan with Cetelem.

The financial company pays the sum of 22,000 euros into the couple's account.

He recontacts them and asks them to make a transfer of 21,640 euros, corresponding to the sum of the credit they still have to pay.

"It was a flash account that only has a lifespan of 48 hours without any verification," adds the young woman.

I wonder why the banks do this kind of thing, because it is the door open to fraud, it is still the fault of the banks and I find it lamentable.

"

In the four months that follow, Angélique finds herself with two credits to pay.

The scammer provides after-sales service for a while.

“He told me it was a matter of time that things were going to be sorted out after the holidays because everyone was on vacation.

In February, I received a document from Domofinance which reminded me of the amount of what I had to pay and there I said: it is not possible, I must go and file a complaint. 'crook has disappeared,' recalls Angélique.

"Once all the invoices have been paid, we only have 1000 euros left"

The couple are taken by the throat.

He is already paying the house loan, that of the heat pump and is deducted from 300 euros per additional month.

“We only have my husband's salary because I am on parental leave.

You might as well say that we are not billionaires.

Every month we were in the open with agios to pay.

We didn't go out anymore.

We had no choice, because once all the bills have been paid, we only have 1,000 euros left to live with a baby and a six-year-old girl.

"

Finally, it is the legal protection of the couple's insurance that comes to his aid and advises him to send a letter to Cetelem.

The organization puts an end to this second credit because it lacked vigilance in accepting an electronic signature from the victim without ever having met it.

After a game of telephone ping-pong, Angelique's bank will agree to reimburse her 1300 euros corresponding to four months of debit.
