About 445 polling stations will be opened tomorrow (Tuesday) in the IDF on the occasion of the elections to the 24th Knesset, of which about 100 are mobile. : 00 in the evening.

Voting in the IDF began last week and has continued over the past week. Soldiers' voting usually begins on the Saturday night before the election, but this time voting began earlier at the request of the Central Election Commission, in order to facilitate the counting of multiple double envelopes expected this year 28 percent of uniformed people have already voted.

Meanwhile, recruitment is expected tomorrow for the Givati ​​Brigade and the Armored Corps.

Recruits will be able to exercise their democratic right at the end of the conscription chain, through four polling stations that will be set up at the Tel Hashomer base.

After the vote they will be dispersed to the training bases.

The highest number of polling stations in the IDF will be located at the Tel Hashomer, Tzrifin, Rabin Camp (HaKriya), Kiryat HaHadracha (Ir HaBadim) and Glilot bases.

About 3,000 soldiers are taking part in the current election as members of military card committees, and another 500 soldiers are serving as corona ushers in charge of order and observance of the guidelines.

About 6,700 lone soldiers and eligible for family payments will serve as paid corona ushers at civilian polling stations across the country. 

In order to avoid double voting, all soldiers who vote in the army will do so in a double envelope with a barcode with their ID card, according to the "double envelopes" method.

It should be noted that soldiers who vote tomorrow will also be able to vote in civilian ballots at their place of residence without a double envelope.

It will be recalled that in the elections to the 23rd Knesset, the voter turnout in the IDF was 70%.
