Adir Cohen (35) and Linoy Ben David (29) are expected to get married today, on Election Day, at "Vision", an event garden in the town of Ora in the Jerusalem area.

Cohen said: "We've been together for quite a few years. We wanted to get married but because of studies and work it took a while. We decided we weren't rejecting anymore and then the corona arrived."

Cohen added: "We have been waiting to get married over the past year. We wanted to get married several times already, but we did not set a date because of the uncertainty in the Corona period. Once the certainty finally came, we booked a date about three weeks ago. My suit was ready and Linoy's dress was already "A lot of time at home, before repairs. We prepared it in case the economy is released. Besides, we ordered everything three weeks ago with the closing date of the event, after announcing that the halls and event gardens would open."

On election day, he said: "It was the only date that was available. At first we wanted to get married the day before the election, because the next day being on holiday is more ideal for an event. In the end it turned out great because everyone is on holiday and the wedding can be held earlier. We understood that it was quite certain that there would be no closure and after the election it is impossible to know what will happen. "

Regarding the response of the guests, he said: "Because of the corona, there are many guests who do not come and there are those who do not come because they are traveling on Election Day. We invited about 250 guests, we will know how many will come on the day of the event."

"We are really excited to finally get married. It's a joy mixed with a little apprehension because of all the conditions and restrictions. Guests should be told to do tests, come with green card certificates and wear masks, and that's a bit obscure of all the joy, but we try to be happy anyway."

Asked if they would vote on Election Day and whether they would hold gimmicks on their wedding day in the spirit of Election, he replied: "We have not yet decided whether to vote on Election Day. This day will be stressful and we will look beyond doubt. We will have so many more elections in the country. "If it works out. In terms of gimmicks, there's our envelope ballot box, it's the best choice," he laughs.

"We did not get to think of anything, but we will think of ideas in the spirit of the election."
