Niamey-Sana
More than sixty people were killed in a series of terrorist attacks targeting several villages near the border between Niger and Mali.
A previous toll from the victims of the attacks today indicated 40 people were killed.
And the Agence France-Presse quoted security sources as saying today that the death toll has reached at least 60 people, noting that gunmen on motorcycles attacked the villages of Antazaine, Kwarate and Westistani and the surrounding areas on the border between Niger and Mali, which led to the fall of this number of victims.
Thirteen people were killed and seven others were wounded in militant attacks a few days ago on three regions in the state of Kaduna, northwest Nigeria, bordering Niger and Mali.
