The Syrian Foundation for Trade in Aleppo governorate placed the Akramia hall for sale with service after the completion of its rehabilitation and expansion to serve the neighborhoods of Adhamiya, Salah al-Din, Saif al-Dawla, al-Hamdaniya and al-Furqan, with consumer and foodstuffs, vegetables, fruits, and household electrical appliances.

Abdul Hamid Muslim, Director of the Corporation's branch, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the hall's rehabilitation came within the framework of the corporation’s pursuit of positive intervention in the markets and the spread and horizontal expansion of the Syrian trade outlets, in the framework of providing better service to citizens and displaying consumer goods and food products more.

Musallam pointed to the continuation of work to increase the number of sales outlets, as 20 outlets and halls for sale are being prepared to put them into service in the city and the countryside, and to continue distributing consumable materials via the electronic card in the halls that have been working to increase their capacity and in the countryside and a number of popular neighborhoods via mobile cars, where the total number reached The halls opened in the countryside and the city 75 halls.

The Sana camera visited the Akramia hall after its rehabilitation and expansion and the continuation of the sales movement in it, as Khaled Shaban, the hall manager, explained that the rehabilitation and expansion work of the hall started since the beginning of the current year, as its area was increased three times the area of ​​the previous hall and it was provided with additional consumable materials to accommodate the large number of citizens and shoppers. Expanding the stationery, detergents, meat, milk and cheese section to integrate with the household materials and electrical appliances sections to meet the needs of citizens at competitive prices.

He pointed to continuing the distribution of consumables through the electronic card, including 600 parcels of sugar and rice on a daily basis, in addition to distributing subsidized materials from margarine and oils at a price cheaper than the market by about 50 percent.

Shaaban explained that the expansion works included the vegetable section, which includes various vegetables and fruits, and the prices of the ration bulletin issued by the Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate. The sale is also carried out by installment system for state workers at a value of 300,000 Syrian pounds in installments over a period of 12 months.

A number of shoppers, some of whom used to visit the hall periodically, expressed their satisfaction with the expansion work, which enabled them to roam in the hall comfortably and choose the consumables they need, confirming the existence of real price reductions for a number of items from the market.
