Tung Wah Group of Hospitals has always been committed to helping young people of different strata to realize their potential.

The "Randian•Dream"-Youth Entrepreneurship Program launched this time is funded by the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Funding Program" under the Youth Development Fund of the Home Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Committee. It is also a subsidiary of "We Venture" project.

Chairman Wen Yingyi of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals attended the launching ceremony hosted by the Chief Executive on February 26 and accepted the certificate from the Chief Executive.

Chairman Wen Yingyi expressed his gratitude: "This project has received a grant of more than HK$7.8 million from the Youth Development Fund of the Youth Development Committee, and matched with the Chairman of Rising Sun Group Co., Ltd. Dr. Yang Zhao, GBS Justice of the Peace with a donation of HK$1 million and the hospital’s funding of HK$1 million. More than 700,000 yuan, bringing the entire project's funding to more than HK$9.6 million."

The plan has officially started on March 1. The purpose is to support young people in Hong Kong in pursuing their own dreams and to help them start businesses in Hong Kong and even the Greater Bay Area. What kind of substantive support is there?

"In order to help young start-ups equip themselves to face and solve various difficulties on the road to entrepreneurship, this project will organize business training workshops with different themes to strengthen young entrepreneurs' business knowledge." Chairman Wen also pointed out that the project also invited different professions Participants, "We have invited many senior lawyers, accountants and successful entrepreneurs in different fields to provide consulting services in professional fields such as law, accounting and marketing. We have also contacted banks that have business dealings with Donghua to coordinate youth entrepreneurship. Asked whether the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals think that Hong Kong has sufficient resources for the further development of young people? Chairman Wen said that the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is pleased to see that Hong Kong’s various systems can be further improved, so that Hong Kong has a more stable political and economic situation. The hospital can more fully meet the needs of the SAR government and society to provide Hong Kong citizens with medical, educational, social and cultural conservation services.

Chairman Wen also believes that the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Funding Scheme" and "We Venture" are a good entry point for Hong Kong youths to have the opportunity and a suitable platform to learn more about the country.

Chairman Wen further suggested: "In addition to this funding scheme, the SAR government may consider giving additional resources to some groups or non-governmental organizations rooted in society that love Hong Kong, and organize different promotional activities and service projects to identify the country and its national identity. Concepts, principles, and policies are widely disseminated in schools and communities, so that one country, two systems can be stable and far-reaching."

Chairman Wen Yingyi said that the Youth Entrepreneurship Program aims to provide more in-place entrepreneurial support and incubation services for Hong Kong young people who start their own businesses in Hong Kong or cities in the Greater Bay Area, and to further assist young people in solving their capital needs in the early stages of entrepreneurship.
