The Greek Tourism Minister this evening (Monday) informed the Israeli Ambassador to Athens, Yossi Amrani, that the Greek Council of Ministers has approved the entry of Israeli tourists with a vaccine certificate into their country without the need for a corona inspection and without the obligation of isolation.
The permit is expected to take effect starting tomorrow, after a government order is signed on the subject, and will include a quota of 10,000 Israeli tourists a week.
The airlines that currently operate direct flights to Greece are Israeli only.
The Greek Blue Bird is expected to join soon and with it the Greek Agian.
Greece is under many restrictions with a recent rise in morbidity rates.
Many areas of the country have been under full closure until recently, hoping it will have an impact and help reduce morbidity.
