Prosecutors in Tokyo on Monday indicted two Americans accused of helping former Renault-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn flee Japan in 2019 to Lebanon, when he was accused of financial embezzlement.

In a statement, prosecutors said Michael Taylor and his son Peter, extradited from the United States earlier this month, were charged with helping Carlos Ghosn escape from Japan to Lebanon where he remains an international fugitive.
