Within the activities of the (Syrian Family) Days ... the Dafa association honors a number of mothers

The Diffa Association today honored 25 mothers, including surrogate mothers who work in the Dafa center for the care of beggary and homeless children, and mothers of children residing in the center, who were prevented by circumstances from being with their children.

The honor, which was held in the Dar Al-Rahma hall for caring for orphans, is part of the activities of the Syrian Family Days campaign launched by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and on the occasion of Mother's Day, where a number of the House of Mercy and Dafa Center presented singing artistic performances that sang the greatness of the mother and the love of the homeland and presented gifts to mothers.

Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus, Nazek Rahma, indicated that the event aims to emphasize the role of the family in building the individual and reinforce this role because protecting the individual and the family is a protection for society, noting the efforts of NGOs and surrogate mothers.

The head of the board of directors of the association, Fida Daqouri, explained that the honor is an expression of appreciation for the efforts of the surrogate mothers and their role in compensating for the real parental care that the children lost, as children at the Dafa Center receive health and psychological care, residence, education and skills development in addition to family communication in the event of a parent present.

In turn, Baraa Al-Ayoubi, Director of Dar Al-Rahma, drew attention to the importance of collaborative work between NGOs in such events, confirming the success of the surrogate mother's experience in compensating the missing family care with all the love, affection and care of his parents.

A number of honorable women saw that the honor confirms their success in delivering the message of motherhood, as Buthaina Al-Subh considered that her work in Dafa Center for a year and a half ago gave positive results with the resident children.

At the beginning of this March, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor launched the Syrian Family Days campaign to enhance individual and collective awareness of the status of the family in society, and its activities include all segments of society and age groups.
