Alling / Germering - On Sunday shortly before 8 a.m., a 31-year-old woman from Germannsberg (municipality of Alling) called the inspection in Germering and announced that she had run into a large white herding dog.

He was looking for something to eat on her farm.

She would have locked the dog now and asked for a police "detention".

Then an intrepid colleague and an intrepid colleague drove to Germannsberg in the police station's largest patrol car to pick up the dog, reports Andreas Ruch from the Germering police

Since the animal welfare organization “Pfotenhelfer eV” from Puchheim, which normally takes care of the so-called police found dogs, did not have a suitable kennel available on Sunday, the four-legged friend was brought to the Germering veterinary clinic after a brief initial inspection, especially since the dog was not chipped and there was no evidence of its owner.

When asked at the veterinary clinic, the dog was picked up by his master in the meantime.

More detailed information about the dog owner is not yet known, as he has not yet reported to the Germeringer police.

Ruch reports that the Germeringen police have a heart for animals, which they have proven in the past through a number of rescue operations of various animal species.

It is reminiscent of a snake on the terrace, a turtle on the street, but also an exhausted blackbird in the middle of the busy B2 or a stray bat in the living room curtain.
