Christoph Murnau picked up two men from the Lenggries mountain rescue service in the valley and tried to reach the scene of the accident under the adverse conditions.

At the same time, two mountain rescuers got ready in the valley in case a rescue from the air would not be possible.

In this case, an expensive terrestrial rescue would have to take place in order to be able to transport the patient away on the footpath.

Due to a “flying masterpiece” by the pilot, according to the head of operations, a rescuer was finally lowered to the patient from a height of several meters using a winch.

The young ski tourer could be brought out of the impassable terrain with a Kapprettung.

The rescuer remains secured on the rope under the helicopter standing in the air, just quickly puts a belt on the patient and is then pulled up again with the winch.

After medical care by the helicopter crew in the valley, the patient was flown to the hospital in Murnau.

Only minutes after the end of the second mission, the next one followed.

A 26-year-old fell in the area of ​​the front descent and dislocated his shoulder.

Volunteers from the Lenggries mountain rescue service and a trained mountain rescue emergency doctor were brought from the valley to the patient in the skidoo.

The man was taken away with the Ackja after the supply of painkillers.

In the valley he was handed over to an ambulance that took the young man to the hospital in Bad Tölz.

Mountain rescue service in constant use: fall on the rear descent on Brauneck

Almost at the same time, a young woman fell on the back descent on Brauneck and was slightly injured.

She called the mountain rescue service because she no longer dared to go down alone because of her injuries.

Two rescuers from the mountain rescue team rushed to her rescue from the mountain rescue hut on Brauneck and transported the woman to the valley using Ackja.

There were two missing winter sports enthusiasts at the Seekar recently.

In both cases, however, there was a happy ending.
