Over the course of our reading, we have created with Sylvain Tesson our imaginary itinerary: 3,000 km from the perched mountain pastures of Kazakhstan to the dry shores of the Aral Sea, crossing Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Very quickly, we wanted to realize this adventure on horseback.
We trained in farrier and different equine techniques to accompany our horses in this roaming.
We took a long time to choose our mounts, supported by a nomadic friend in Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.
Traveling with animals gives a real capacity for altruism, the possibility of being attentive to the senses that we use badly.
The nomadic life in this caravan formed by the five of us was exhilarating.
