Staying at home for a long time to learn online is an unprecedented challenge for students, parents and teachers.

In order for students to have a different Chinese culture day during this difficult time, our school not only introduces the cultural customs of various countries to celebrate the Lunar New Year through the weekly assembly, and teaches students how to use environmentally-friendly and profitable seals to make three-dimensional sway spring and three-dimensional In addition to Taohua, a parent-child Chinese New Year food workshop was held in an unprecedented online live broadcast, so that parents, teachers and students can temporarily forget their worries and have an unforgettable cooking journey with ease.

Introduction

In the parent-child New Year Food Workshop, two cooking classes were set up, namely, "Le" Ying Tuan, "Yuan" (Tang Yuan) and Yi Yi Yian Gao (Coconut Milk Rice Cake). Students and parents can freely choose to participate in one of the workshops. Parents and children make Chinese New Year food together and feel the atmosphere of the Lunar New Year.

In each workshop, there are teachers who can cook well (God of Cooking) and teachers who don't often cook (apprentices). For example, the host of a TV cooking show interacted with each other, adding a joyful atmosphere.

In addition, an instant interactive quiz game was also added to introduce the origin, English name and calories of glutinous rice balls and rice cakes to enrich students' knowledge.

Two lenses are set up in each workshop. One is a close-up lens to photograph the details and ingredients produced by the teacher; the other is a far lens to photograph the entire "kitchen".

During the production process, students and parents immediately asked questions, and teachers answered in real time, allowing teachers, parents and students to interact with each other, and the atmosphere was full of joy.

Both glutinous rice balls and rice cakes are Chinese New Year foods, and they are simple to make and do not require special stoves. Parents and students only need to prepare ingredients and utensils to make them.

And we also want students not only to follow the instructions to make food, but also to use creativity to make unique foods, so the teacher makes different animal shapes in the making of glutinous rice balls; and in the making of rice cakes, different sugars are used to make them.
