Brazil registers more than 3,000 deaths from covid-19 in a single day

The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported 3,251 new deaths from covid-19 on Tuesday, which represents the highest number of deaths in a single day in the country and the first time that more than 3,000 deaths have been reported in one day.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported 3,251 new deaths from covid-19 this Tuesday, which represents the highest number of deaths in a single day in the country and the first time that more than 3,000 deaths have been reported in one day.

To date, the country accumulates a total of 298,676 deaths related to the virus.

The country also added 82,493 new infections and brings the total to 12,130,019.

Of that total, 10,601,685 have recovered from the virus.

According to Johns Hopkins University, Brazil is the second country in the world with the highest number of deaths from covid-19 and confirmed cases.
