How to fix the Android bug that paralyzes the apps on your smartphone

Due to a badly calibrated Google update, some applications like Gmail or the Chrome browser systematically crash on the Internet.

And the machine got stuck a bit.

Following an update Tuesday morning of Android WebView, a software component of the operating system of your smartphone, many applications are struggling to launch and more generally crash at startup.

The bug affects all models, regardless of the brand and version of Android installed.

Alerted, Google and its teams have implemented a fix that requires a little manipulation.

Android WebView allows an application to access a website without going through the Chrome web browser.

It is therefore necessary to update both tools in the Play Store.

The update goes through the Play Store app store.

After finding both apps, just tap on Update to have a new version set the scene for good.
