Tartous-Sana
The strong winds that Tartous has been witnessing since yesterday have led to numerous malfunctions of the low and medium voltage lines in different areas of the governorate.
In a statement to SANA's correspondence today, the director of the Tartous Electricity Company, Engineer Abdel Hamid Mansour, said that the wind speed and the interference of trees in some areas with the electrical networks led to cuts and power outages in the radar areas, a line in the Rawda-Al-Shorfa area, and a line feeding the Sheikh Badr area.
Mansour confirmed that all the aforementioned lines have been maintained and reconnected as they were previously, and trees have been trimmed.
