The Home Affairs Department emphasized that "Golden Star" is a listed premises under Chapter 599F and must comply with relevant regulations and instructions issued by the government. Offenders commit criminal offences and can be fined up to 50,000 yuan and imprisoned for 6 months.
The department will continue to take vigorous enforcement actions and step up inspections at all district conference sites in Hong Kong to ensure that the persons in charge of the premises and visitors follow the epidemic prevention regulations.
