The great late poet Nizar Qabbani brought together a group of Syrian poets at the cultural center in the square to sing the love, beauty, homeland and mankind as a celebration of the poet Jasmine.

The evening, which was held within the activities of the festival “Nizar Qabbani, the Alphabet of Jasmine” was initiated by the doctor-poet Maram Duraid Al-Nisr with a sentimental poem entitled “The Snow Princess” in addition to a poem entitled “My Self Refuge” of the vertical style, characterized by the sweetness of its meanings and flow, in which she said: “As long as I live, I will remain a psychological haven. And the end of my soul is thirsty and forgetful. ”

The poet Qassem Farhat read two poems entitled “Handzalah” and “The Waterwheel of Passion,” characterized by deep images and transparent symbols, where he said: “I roar visions and the horizon is my wings .. I dance the wind in the atmosphere of my kingdom.”

The poet Ibrahim Fahd Mansour’s participation came with two poems entitled “Take me to her, absent” and “Every year and Damascus is fine,” in which he broadcast his love and passion for Damascus jasmine in the manner of the poet Qabbani, so he said: “Reassure me of every girl who loves Damascus .. I will know that life is fine .. and not There is something worth upset ... Jasmine is yours, and I have all this honey.

The poet Qahtan Bayraktar recited a poem entitled “New margins on the notebooks of setbacks,” which was distinguished by its approaches to Nizar’s poems in which he complained about the practices and positions of some Arab regimes about our fateful issues, where he said: “There is no Mason, nor Belqis ...

The poet Muhammad Hasan Al-Ali presented two poems entitled “In Qasiyoun al-Sham” and “Like the Linden”, in which the poet Nizar recounted through simple and suggestive pictures and easy and abstaining vocabulary, and said: “Like a linden, I came before myself… because of pain from your hands some of my diaspora.”

The evening poet Ibrahim Abbas Yassin concluded the evening with a vertical poem distinguished by its modernity, with pictures, meanings and linguistic divergences, in which he said: “As a passerby who escaped from water and pasture .. I walk to my first person who is assassinated by thirst… as if I am the last or that I am news .. he is told and he has no beginning in saying.”

The evening was presented by the poet Ali Al-Dandah, who referred to the history of the poet Qabbani, his greatness, and what he presented to women, society and mankind.
