A number of children and adults with disabilities from different regions of Tartous Governorate presented singing and theatrical performances, in addition to poetry and sports, on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in the city.

The paragraphs that were presented as part of an event set up by the Disability Sub-Council that Birth Jebb, the Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Tartous talked about during her speech, is a contribution to strengthening the status of the family and its importance in social immunization, noting the important role of teachers in order to radiate the light of knowledge and knowledge.

In turn, the Secretary General of the Disability Sub-Council pointed out in his speech that the message of children today is different. Some of them send it with words and singing, and some of them send it silently with speech so that their message is "My mother, you are life, and my teacher, you are the way."

Shatha Arous, the Inclusion Coordinator in the Research Department at the Education Directorate, indicated in a statement to Sana the importance of promoting the culture of inclusion and taking care of this segment of children at an early date and providing them with the necessary care, and this is what the Ministry of Education seeks to dedicate, noting the participation of a number of children of sources in the inclusive schools with a singing paragraph entitled “Gammar We are the children ”with the children of Al-Ajami Inclusive Kindergarten as an expression of their love for joy and life and a proof of their potential and abilities.

Nujoud Askour, a resource teacher at the Shaheed Ali Al-Shanbur Inclusive School, said that these children have capabilities that need follow-up and support, and this is what is being worked on through continuous training and follow-up while creating appropriate conditions for various types of disabilities.

The special education teacher at Al-Majd Association Bushra Mahmoud found in the song paragraph presented by the association’s children “Nafas Al-Ahram” a great challenge to prove their presence because it includes children with different disabilities, some of whom suffer from Down syndrome and others have difficulties in learning and movement in addition to autism, considering that parents ’confidence in the abilities of their children Community acceptance is the basis of the idea of ​​inclusion.

Kinda Salloum, who suffers from Down Syndrome, performed a theatrical performance entitled "Romeo and Juliet" with her sister Malak, where their mother, Rana Saeed, saw that the mother's encouragement of her children and her presence with them is the basis of their success and surpasses them, regardless of their disability.

Whereas, the coordinator of the Home Rehabilitation Program at the Syrian Trust for Development from Manarat Ad-Draikish explained that Kinda has multiple interests and activities and is the recipient of several awards, considering that knowing the child's desires and directions, lighting them up and working on developing them is the beginning of the road for him.

The children of the Hearing Disability Institute presented a paragraph in sign language, and the child Maryam Nakhla from the “Matlik Mitli” center participated in the gymnastics session under the supervision of coach Suha Mualla, while the paragraph of poetry was for Mamdouh Dibo, while the young Farah Issa, who suffers from a visual impairment, narrated the story of her success and excellence despite the disability.
