The head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Wael Al-Hassania, affirmed that Syria provides Lebanon with large quantities of oxygen needed for Corona patients despite the economic sanctions imposed on them, because it has always stood by the Lebanese people, calling on the Lebanese government to coordinate with its sister Syria at all levels.
Al-Hasania said in a statement today that the Syrian response to the request of the Minister of Health in the Lebanese caretaker government is not surprising, as Syria has always stood by Lebanon and supported it in its battles against the Israeli occupation, protected its unity in the face of partition projects, helped it rebuild state institutions, stabilize civil peace, and embraced its resistance and did not abandon One day on its national responsibilities towards Lebanon and the Lebanese.
Al-Hassania added that providing Lebanon with large quantities of oxygen in an urgent manner under the direction of President Bashar al-Assad after things deteriorated to the point of threatening the lives of many Lebanese who need oxygen daily for artificial respiration machines, proving that Damascus will remain the lung from which Lebanon breathes, noting at the same time. For his part, the head of the National Center in North Lebanon, Kamal al-Khair, affirmed that what President al-Assad did by directing to supply Lebanon with oxygen is not new because Syria has always been and continues to stand by Lebanon in all the crises it has gone through.
Al-Khair said in a statement that the brotherly Syrian-Lebanese relations will remain sober no matter how some try to disrupt them, stressing that Lebanon is in constant need of Syria because it is the only gateway to cross to most parts of the world and that the Lebanese state must strengthen and develop its relations in various fields because of the interest of the Lebanese people who benefit Of the capabilities that characterize Syria, especially the industrial and agricultural that Lebanon needs.
In turn, former MP Emile Lahoud welcomed Syria's supply of oxygen to Lebanese hospitals to fill the shortage he suffers from.
Lahoud said in a statement that this news would have been familiar and natural, but that it would happen in this circumstance that Syria is going through, which has suffered from a devastating war that lasted ten years and is conspiring to this day by several countries against it, in addition to the suffocating economic crisis as a result of the imposed blockade that includes the medical sector in As the Coronavirus spreads, it is worth stopping by.
Lahoud added, "In times of trouble, it is always evident who is Lebanon's true friend, while several countries are supported by some politicians, entrusting them with their affairs and decisions, watching what happens to Lebanon."
