North Korea fired a projectile into the sea on Thursday morning, March 25, which may be its first ballistic missile test since the start of the Biden presidency, the South Korean military said.

The South Korean Army's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement that an
"unidentified projectile"
had been fired into the Sea of Japan, known as the
"East Sea"
in Korea.
