The Millî Görüs association, which officially supports the project for the Strasbourg-based Eyyub Sultan mosque, of Turkish obedience, is well known to the French state.
She is one of the member organizations of the French Muslim Worship Council (CFCM), where she has been a very official member of the board for years, alongside the other major Turkish Muslim national association, the Coordinating Committee for Muslims. Turks of France (CCMTF).
On French territory, Millî Görüs manages 70 places of worship while the CCMTF is piloting 270, out of a total of 2,500 mosques.
These two Turkish Muslim associations therefore account for 14% of Islam in France.

In January 2020, the national president of the Islamic Community of Millî Görüs (CIMG), Fatih Sarikir, was elected secretary general of the CFCM, a key position.
One of the two vice-presidents of the CFCM is Ibrahim Alci, French of Turkish origin and president of the CCMTF.
