The governor of Hasaka emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the governorate and the International Committee of the Red Cross in the areas of supporting the water sector, providing the Alouk project with the necessary equipment and supplies for the continuation of work, supporting the health sector with medical supplies and equipment and medicines, and securing maintenance supplies for the electrical sector and the bread production sector, calling for the need for the committee to play its international role and work to neutralize Service sectors for any non-governmental intervention.

For his part, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross stated that work will be done to increase cooperation in the field of providing services and activities needed by the governorate, and that his visit aims to closely examine the situation, monitor needs and work on achieving them, especially securing work requirements in the sectors of water, electricity and bakeries.

The head of the committee pointed out that Syria needs more support, and we must be active at the Syrian level in general, the Hasakah governorate in a special status and at the international level, and the donors to recognize the seriousness and seriousness of the Syrian situation and to amend the policies towards Syria, indicating that the officials participating in the Brussels conference that will be held next week will be addressed.
