The main representative of Islam in Spain arrested in an operation investigating a jihadist financing scheme

The president of the Islamic Commission of Spain (CIE), Mohamad Ayman Adlbi (75 years old), has been detained by agents of the General Information Commissary (CGI) of the National Police in the framework of an operation carried out throughout the tomorrow of this Wednesday.

The Islamic Commission of Spain is the representative body of the Islamic religious communities before the Spanish Administration, since the signing of a cooperation agreement in 1992.
