Many streets in Zolling are in need of renovation.
Now the municipal council has decided on a comprehensive package of measures.

- The roads in the municipality of Zolling are partly in a bad condition.
On the Birkenweg and on Heilmaierstraße towards the school, repair work is no longer enough.
In addition, there is damage to the substructure, for example broken pipes in the sewer or in the water supply.
The local council has therefore now decided on extensive renovation measures for a total of almost 460,000 euros.
It is mainly about civil engineering work.
No doubt about the need for action
The repairs should, if possible, be tackled and carried out this year and next.
In addition to the main town, districts such as Hacklschwaig, Flitzing and Ölpersberg as well as Oberappersdorf, Siechendorf, Abersberg and Gerlhausen are in the focus of the planning.
In the budget year 2021, 260,000 euros have been earmarked for this.
In 2022, another 200,000 euros will be incurred.
There was no doubt in the council that the 20 individual measures were necessary.
Mayor Helmut Priller campaigned for the overall package to be approved and approved.
It is an important step in the budget.
This means that the necessary funds have already been entered in the budget, but everything should be presented, discussed and decided again in detail.
When asked about the aforementioned time window, Priller said: “We hope that we can get it through.” But that also depends on the companies and on possible complications.
The access to the sewage treatment plant is the largest post
The largest item with an estimated 66,000 euros is the access to the sewage treatment plant in Zolling.
45,000 euros have been earmarked for the redesign of the street at the sports center east of the bowling alley.
The work on the communal road to Ölpersberg and the road “zum Pendl” in Oberappersdorf were only slightly cheaper: 41,000 euros were estimated for each.
Repairs in the area of Birkenweg / Erlenstraße and Gartenweg / Jahnstraße in Zolling are comparatively cheap: They only cost 4800 euros each.
According to the draft resolution, the renovation measures are now to be carried out “as a package in a tender” over a period from 2021 to 2022.
The compilation of the road construction work was carried out in coordination with the construction technician of the municipality from the Lohr engineering office.
Placing the order with the engineering office was also on the agenda - albeit in the non-public part of the latest municipal council meeting.
The announcement is still pending.
