Nuremberg
- Six large Franconian companies from the Nuremberg area * wrote an open letter to Markus Söder.
Adidas *, Puma, Schaeffler, Datev, Leoni and GfK ask for permission to vaccinate their employees themselves.
The German Press Agency (dpa) reported in a message.
They want to administer the corona vaccine to their 33,000 employees and their family members themselves with the help of company doctors.
"In this way, the companies in the region could help to extend the protection of the population," said the letter to Prime Minister Markus Söder *.
“First of all, we would like to thank you and your employees for your commitment to fighting the pandemic,” the companies begin their letter.
The companies would like to make a contribution to bringing about the Corona * vaccination of the German population quickly.
"Specifically, we are happy to offer to make the existing infrastructure of our company available," it continues.
Nuremberg: Large companies turn to Söder to be able to vaccinate their own employees
As soon as large quantities of vaccine are available, around 33,000 employees and their family members can be vaccinated within a very short time.
And that without burdening the public systems.
"The protection of our employees is very important to us," the letter continues.
"If vaccinations are implemented more quickly, we as a company could also make a contribution to society as a whole."

Nuremberg: Vaccination ordinance would have to be changed
The companies are convinced that coping with the pandemic will require a joint effort.
In order to implement this project, however, the federal vaccination ordinance would have to be changed or overridden, as it provides for prioritization based on age or membership of certain professional groups.
