After public criticism: Yarin Sharaf will be charged with raping the girl at the Corona Hotel

The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office today (Thursday) submitted a request to the City Magistrate's Court to amend the indictment filed against Yarin Sharaf, and attribute rape offenses to him, and accordingly transfer the case to the District Court.

The State Attorney's Office's request came after a renewed hearing conducted by Acting State Attorney Amit Isman on the issue following public criticism.

Sharaf, according to the indictment, raped a 13-year-old girl at the Corona Hotel in Jaffa last month.

The section was converted to rape.
