About 400 people attended Thursday afternoon at the funeral in Bain-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine) of Magali Blandin, mother of four children killed by her husband in February with a baseball bat, we learn from the gendarmerie.

Some 200 people were present in the church of Bain-de-Bretagne during the religious ceremony which began at 2 p.m. and around 200 outside, according to the gendarmerie.
Bain-de-Bretagne is located about 40 km south of Rennes.

", indicates the funeral notice published in the newspaper Ouest-France.
Magali Blandin's husband was indicted for "
attempted murder by spouse
" for a first criminal project hatched at the end of 2020 and for "
murder by spouse
".
Her parents, aged 72 and 75, were indicted for "
aiding and abetting attempted murder by spouse
" and "
aiding
and
abetting spousal murder
".
All were remanded in custody.
