On paper, Yasmina did not have the “classic” profile of a victim of femicide.
Her body was found in a trash can in a building in Paris (14th century) after she was beaten to death one evening in July 2017 by her violent, jealous and thief spouse.
“Peaceful” childhood in La Manche, “stable and coherent” educational framework, “harmonious” family… On the second day of Ludovic L.'s trial, a personality investigator painted the portrait of the 37-year-old nursing assistant, who , before her meeting with her executioner, seemed rather stable and fulfilled.
But there was this gaping gap that had forced her to start psychotherapy.
At the beginning of adulthood, Yasmina had found the courage to reveal to those close to her that she had been abused as a child by her grandmother's companion.
“As soon as we found out, my mother threw her partner out,” said Michèle, Yasmina's mother.

"Solar", "generous" ... and "naive in love"
Yasmina, according to her relatives, was a "solar", "generous", "helpful" young woman.
Her childhood friend, Sarah, evokes at the helm a "funny" woman, with "the joy of communicative life", without "any nastiness".
But despite her "strong temper", Yasmina could be "withdrawn when she was in love".
“She was naive in love.
She was looking for Prince Charming.
She only fell on men who took advantage of her kindness, ”confided her sister Noémie.

It was in 2013 that Yasmina met Ludovic, on a dating site.
After a first breakup, the couple reformed in 2014. The young woman quickly fell pregnant.
According to her three close friends, that's when she began to cut ties with those close to her.
“One day, I teased Ludovic about his car.
It hurt him in his ego.
The next day, Yasmina told me that he didn't want her to talk to me anymore, ”says Sarah, his“ confidante ”.
After the birth of their daughter, Ludovic moves in with Yasmina.

The man shows himself more and more "jealous", "possessive" and "verbally violent".
"He belittled her as a mother, told her that she was incapable of making decisions, that she had no personality, of responding.
Yasmina becomes the shadow of herself.
After the birth of her daughter, she lost about twenty kilos.
The young woman starts to shave the walls.

She who loved "travel", "party" or "sport", no longer leaves her home.

"I thought she would kill herself one day," confided her sister Noémie.
“She couldn't leave because he was holding her by his daughter.
