Losses in trade tax, plus further loss of income: Rudelzhausen's household is also shaped by the effects of the pandemic.

Rudelzhausen

- The Corona crisis has also left its mark on the Rudelzhausen household.

Mayor Michael Krumbucher has now made this clear in the course of the 2021 budget.

As a result, there will be “a dent” in trade tax - and the town hall chief is also expecting losses in income tax and key allocations.

On the other hand, he speaks of rising personnel costs and an expensive investment program.

The municipality is mainly reducing its reserves for financing purposes.

New borrowing is also planned.

In this context, however, Krumbucher announced that they wanted to repay old debts and reschedule in order to get better conditions.

"With some loans we have the opportunity to get out," he said confidently.

Break in key assignments

The total budget for 2021, which the local council unanimously approved and decided on Monday, is almost twelve million euros.

The administrative budget accounts for 6.7 million euros.

The budget is 5.3 million euros.

In 2020 it was 6.6 and 4.9 million euros.

The trade tax will drop from 1,237,000 euros by December 31 to a million euros.

Said dent is therefore 237,000 euros.

A cautious approach, as Krumbucher emphasized - and one that is set to increase continuously to 1.3 million euros in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The income tax share, which is the municipality's highest source of income in addition to the district levy at just under 1.8 million euros, drops from a rounded 2.3 million euros to 1,950,000.

The slump in key assignments with an expected almost 600,000 euros is, according to the forecast, 126,000 euros.

The personnel costs mentioned by Krumbucher increase by 169,000 to a good 1.6 million euros.

The town hall chief blames the employment of a chamberlain or a nanny for this.

According to Krumbucher, that matters.

Swimming pool renovation is the most expensive investment

The largest expenditures in the budget year 2021 include the district levy with 1.8 million and the subsidy for childcare with 580,000 euros.

The top priority for investments is the general renovation of the outdoor pool in Tegernbach, which will cost almost 1.6 million euros from 2021.

In addition, there is the development of the "Wiesfeld" construction area with 336,000 euros or the purchase of a new emergency vehicle for the volunteer fire brigade in Grafendorf with 285,000 euros.

Other noteworthy expenses are the new facilities, the expansion or replacement purchases for playgrounds amounting to 117,500 euros or the establishment of a forest kindergarten, for which 55,000 euros have been set in the budget.

In the local council, Krumbucher mentioned the street renovation in Niederhinzing, which caused costs of 300,000 euros.

The total investment amounts to 2,843,000 euros.

The preliminary report on the budget says: “To finance the massive renovation and investment needs, an almost complete withdrawal of reserves is planned for 2021.

This should also serve to avoid high negative interest rates for bank deposits. ”The withdrawal from the reserves is estimated at 3.3 million euros.

In addition to a minimum reserve of almost 64,000 euros, there are still 265,000 left on the high edge.

Debt is falling

The total debt will drop from 2.9 million to just over one million euros.

The reported new debt in the amount of almost 1.2 million flows entirely into the repayment of credit market debts from the past.

This also explains the debt rescheduling mentioned by Krumbucher in order to achieve more favorable interest rates on the capital market.

With a debt level of exactly 1,028,600 euros, the per capita debt of the municipality of Rudelzhausen is 296 euros.

One had already had a lot more, said Krumbucher with the reference to 500 or 600 euros per inhabitant.
