“Yesterday evening, she was not feeling well enough with the dose of oxygen that was delivered to her.

Doctors have therefore decided to increase it, ”a member of the minister's entourage told AFP.

This same source explained that she "made a point of making a tweet to reassure people who send her many worried messages".

Former Minister of Health, Ms. Bachelot received a first dose of vaccine on March 17.

I wanted to thank everyone who sent me warm messages, they touch me and carry me!

Roselyne Bachelot is the second member of the government sick with the coronavirus and hospitalized, after the Minister of Labor Elisabeth Borne, 59, admitted Monday to an establishment in the Paris region and released on Wednesday.

Former Minister of Health, Roselyne Bachelot was appointed in July at the head of the ministry, succeeding Franck Riester, who himself had contracted the virus a year ago.

Since arriving at rue de Valois, she has had to deal with the fallout from the health crisis on the cultural world, including museums, cinema and performing arts, which have been kept closed since October 30.
