The Lebanese Arab Tawhid Party thanked the brotherly Syrian people and the Syrian leadership for extending a helping hand and sending oxygen supplies to the Lebanese people.
The party said in a statement today, “This dear step that comes in response to the needs of Lebanon and under the directives of President Bashar al-Assad restores hope for the Lebanese and cohesion to the fraternal relations between the two countries,” adding, “There is no other way for our Arab people except for solidarity, solidarity and integration in politics and the economy in order to face all risks. And difficulties ”.
In turn, the Islamic Action Front in Lebanon thanked the Syrian sister, led by President al-Assad, for her support and supplying Lebanon with oxygen to treat Corona patients.
The front said in a statement today, "Syria has never given up on extending a hand of aid and assistance to Lebanon, especially in difficult circumstances and in light of the crises that Lebanon and Syria are suffering both today and under an unjust blockade imposed by the American administration."
The front added, "This kindly assistance is evidence of good intentions and great concern on the part of the wise Syrian leadership for the health and wellness of Lebanon despite the global war that was waged on it ten years ago and is still going on."
The Front stressed the necessity of strengthening fraternal relations between Syria and Lebanon and opening relations in all aspects in the interest of both Lebanon and Syria.
Yesterday, President al-Assad directed the Ministry of Health to secure 75 tons of oxygen to Lebanon over a period of three days, at a rate of 25 tons every day, after his hospitals were empty of oxygen and in light of the presence of hundreds of patients infected with Coronavirus on artificial respirators.
