After liberating the area from terrorism and restoring the Qudsaya Electricity Department to its activities and work, a field inspection was conducted, the damage and losses counted, and the necessary studies prepared, according to the Director of the Qudsaya Electricity Department, Engineer Khalifa Berjas, who indicated in a statement to the SANA delegate that all studies were prepared for the reconstruction areas in (Basimah, Ain al-Fijah and Ain al-Khadra. ) To restore electricity to the citizens, and work is being done to extend a 4 km medium voltage outlet from the Fijeh station in Basimah town to feed it and secure water pumps to meet the demands of the returning residents.

Barjas added that despite the unjust economic blockade on Syria and the lack of materials and the difficulty of supplying them, work has been done within the available capabilities, repair and rehabilitation of the electrical network in the liberated areas, which were destroyed by terrorism, as more than 150 transfer centers have been sabotaged, in addition to the theft of networks and columns and vandalism of buildings belonging to the department.

Regarding the works carried out by the department between Berjas, the capacity of 7 transmission centers has been increased to secure electrical current for the citizens in the villages of Al-Assad, Al-Hama, Khaburi, Qudsaya Suburb, the Trade Union Building, Deir Qanun and Deir Muqrin, pointing out that this year the department has implemented transfer centers in Al-Hamah pre-made, the Hebron Mosque, and Deir Qanun in what The centers of Al-Hama, Khabouri Al-Dallafa and Jdeideh Al-Wadi are still under construction.

Barjas revealed that the department received 1100 single and triple electronic meters from the beginning of the year until now, of which 506 were installed, 353 meters were replaced, and 10 counters of mechanical transfer centers were replaced with an electronic meter without adding any fees to the citizen, pointing out that the campaigns for dealing with illegal exploitation are continuing as the department organized During the past year, 1175 seizures, while the number of seizures organized since the beginning of the year so far has reached 141.

According to Berjas, the department faces many difficulties, including the shortage of equipment, supplies and young manpower, indicating that the biggest problem facing the department is the theft of electrical equipment, as more than 20 transfer centers have been stolen, which leads to stoppage and interruption pending reform, calling on citizens to report any abnormal phenomenon to be addressed. immediately.

In the One Stop Shop office, and during the reception of customer requests between worker Mohsen Haider, the process of installing a new meter takes one day to complete, while the employee Thaer Ali explained that he deals with citizens' complaints related to errors of visas and high bills, examines reality and provides solutions to ensure the right of the citizen and the company together.

In turn, Mahmoud Abdel-Ghani, treasurer of the fund, praised the citizens' cooperation with the department and their commitment to pay their bills, pointing out that the rate of collection increased during the last period, while the worker from the emergency department, Maher Al-Asr, indicated that he is repairing faults based on a complaint over the phone in order to deal with the defects and solve the problem and restore the flow to citizens .
