The National Union of Syrian Students, Hungary Branch, called on the European Union to lift the unjust blockade and the unilateral coercive measures it imposes on the Syrian people.
In a message sent through its representatives to the European Union in Brussels, the Union said, “In light of the unjust terrorist war imposed on the Syrian people, which has entered its tenth year, with the scourge, killing and destruction it has carried out covering all aspects of the lives of this people’s lives, we think it is time for the European Union to look carefully at New in his policies towards Syria ”.
The letter called on the European Union to lift the injustice on the Syrian people and not to take any decisions that impose agendas on Syria, respect the choices of this people in determining their future without any external dictations, respect the principles of democracy, support it and not fight it to achieve political gains.
The message also called for immediate action to end the unjust economic blockade on the Syrian people, which had a negative impact on all aspects of life in Syria, especially the living and health of it, and caused suffering to millions, especially in light of the outbreak of the Corona virus, as because of this unjust blockade, access to all has become Medical tools to combat the spread of the epidemic and treat it is not possible in addition to its impact on the food security sector and the energy sector and its threat to the right of the Syrian people to live a decent life.
The letter called on the countries of the European Union to restore diplomatic relations with the Syrian government and to work for effective participation in the reconstruction of Syria and achieving peace away from the political goals that caused the suffering of the Syrian people and in line with the humanitarian principles of the peoples of Europe.
