At the end of the afternoon on Wednesday, passers-by called the police: a man, apparently alcoholic and who was dancing along a quay, has just fallen into the water.

Carried away by the current, the man in question was finally recovered in the evening by the river brigade of the Paris police headquarters and the firefighters near the Arcole bridge, not far from Notre-Dame (Paris 4th).

The firefighters were unable to resuscitate him.

A few hours earlier, in a separate case, the police officers of the river brigade had recovered the lifeless body of a woman at the level of the Garigliano bridge, between the 15th and 16th arrondissements.
