A new challenge request against the Assembly that proclaimed the reelection of Claudio Tapia as president of the AFA was presented this Thursday before the General Inspection of Justice.
This time it was San Martín de Tucumán in a letter presented by his lawyer César Fernando Santillán and signed by the second vice president, Carlos Aníbal Cisneros, and the treasurer, Hugo Guillermo Ledesma.
The first request had been presented by the Nueva Chicago club through its president, Germán Kent, last week.
What do the applications pose to the IGJ?
They hold the nullity of the virtual act that took place in May 2020 in which it was decided to proclaim

as president of the Argentine Football Association in a second term that runs from 2021 to 2025.
They argue irregularities in the convocation of said Assembly.
And also that the Assembly Act does not contain any mention of the Electoral Commission and that there is no record or reference in relation to compliance with the Electoral Code of the AFA.
In the event that the IGJ makes room for these requests, Tapia will have to go through the electoral act again.
The problem for him would be that he no longer has all the support he had ten months ago.
