Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has affirmed that his country will never forget the 1999 NATO aggression.
"No one has been held accountable for this crime, and it is impossible to explain that now, after 22 years have passed," Vucic said during a ceremony marking the 22nd anniversary of the start of the NATO operation against Yugoslavia.
Vucic added, according to what Russia Today reported: “This was not an operation, but an aggression without cause and without a decision by the UN Security Council. Ask this from us. ”
It is noteworthy that NATO launched an aggression against Yugoslavia on the 24th of March 1999 under the pretext of “preventing the extermination of the Albanian population” in the Kosovo region, which lasted 78 days, resulting in the deaths of between 3.5 and 4 thousand people and the injury of about 10 thousand in addition to material losses of 100 billion dollars. .
