We do not know who comes up with these ideas, but they are undoubtedly good news for fans of marshmallows.
Pepsi and Peeps (a well-known brand of marshmallows) collaborated on creating a new drink that combines the two extra-sweet flavors, the two companies announced.
The new cola, called Pepsi x Peeps, mixes the flavor of a regular Pepsi with the flavor of marshmallow.
That makes it the ideal, thirst-quenching blend for spring, in the two brands' own words.
The key question here is, does this blend of flavors catch your eye?
Though the company has been around for a long time, this is the first time Pepsi has used marshmallow in their cola, who often push seasonal flavors to build buzz for their brand.
In winter 2020, the brand launched Pepsi drinks with hot chocolate and apple pie to celebrate the holidays.
Pepsi approached Peeps to collaborate on a spring-inspired flavor, Todd Kaplan, Pepsi's vice president of marketing, told CNN Business.
He further added that the combination aims to provide a moment of joy after the tough 2020.
Taste is really important to customers. They want sweetness and they want to connect with things emotionally. Peeps has its own subculture that we wanted to take advantage of.

Peeps has been the # 1 chocolate-free candy brand sold over Easter for more than 20 years, according to owner Just Born.
