The police stated that after investigation, they arrested a 30-year-old local man and a 19-year-old non-Chinese man in Sau Mau Ping District last Thursday (18th) and Monday (22nd) on suspicion of "attacking others with intent to robbery."
The 19-year-old arrested man has been charged with one count of "Assault with Intention to Robbery". The case has been brought before Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts this morning.

Yesterday (24th), the police arrested two more local boys, aged 16 and 17, in Kwun Tong District, suspected of "attacking others with intent to robbery" and "trafficking drugs."
The police officers seized 15 packets of suspected ketamine weighing about 210 grams in their unit, with a market value of about 140,000 yuan, and a batch of clothing that they were wearing when they were suspected of committing the crime.
They are now being detained for investigation.
The police stated that they are very concerned about the number of young people taking or selling drugs in recent years.
According to the "Dangerous Drugs Ordinance", whether possession, smoking or drug trafficking are serious crimes, the maximum penalty for trafficking in dangerous drugs is life imprisonment and a fine of 5 million yuan.
The police also reminded the public that many people now buy and sell vehicles on online platforms. When meeting buyers or sellers, they must pay attention to the place of the transaction and be vigilant, and refrain from meeting in places with less crowds.
Once you encounter danger, you should immediately call the police for help.
