As for the poet and physician Nizar Bani al-Marjeh, his poem prevailed over the emotional and human condition, then his complaint about Kabbani broadcasted in it many of the worries that we live in our current time, relying on music, language and objective balance.

The director of the media festival, the poet Ali Al-Dandah, presented in his interventions a description of the participating poets and glimpses of their literary biography, their books, and the nature of their poetic texts.

The director of culture, Wasim Moubayed considered that the festival is a memorial to a great Syrian poet, whose memory is supposed to be an initiation of the poets ’inspirations and feelings in the service of their national and humanitarian causes.

In a statement to SANA, Head of the Cultural Center, Leila Saab, indicated the need to shed light on writers and poets who served national, humanitarian and social causes, such as our late poet, who was one of the first to write in resistant literature.
