Iran affirmed its strong support for Lebanon's security and political and economic stability in the face of foreign attempts to weaken it.
"The United States, France and Saudi Arabia are pursuing a policy of not having a strong government, division and weakening the resistance in Lebanon," the special assistant to the head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly for international affairs, Hussein Amir Abd al-Lahyan, wrote in a tweet today.
Abd al-Lahian emphasized that the real protection umbrella represented by the equation of the army, the people and the resistance was able to protect Lebanon in the face of the Israeli enemy.
