López-Gatell demands that the media publish "the saddest thing about the pandemic"

The undersecretary of Health of Mexico, Hugo López-Gatell, said that in his opinion the media have a fixation with round figures, this in reference to the fact that the national and international press headlines published that the country exceeded the figure of 200,000 deaths from covid-19.

The official demanded that the media focus on "the saddest side of the pandemic" and according to him, they do so for commercial reasons.
